Smith Post Memorial Church at St. Anthony's - Whitney
Smith-Post Memorial United Church, Whitney, Ontario which was meeting in St Anthony’s Anglican church building has now
amalgamated with the four congregations of the former Maynooth Madawaska Pastoral Charge under the new name Windsong United Church and meets every Sunday at 10:00 am in Maynooth.
St Paul's - Lake St. Peter
St. Paul’s United Church, Lake St. Peter
held the closing service of their building on October 27th, 2024. The congregation lives on in the amalgamated congregations of the Maynooth Madawaska Pastoral Charge with a new name Windsong United Church which meets every Sunday in Maynooth at 10:00 am
St. Paul’s United Church in Lake St. Peter has been in existence since 1945. It was built as a Congregational Church by the people of Lake St. Peter on land donated by a Lake St. Peter resident.
Windsong United Church - Maynooth
Currently the home of the former Maynooth Madawaska Pastoral Charge. Newly named Windsong United Church – with the amalgamated congregations from Lake St. Peter, Whitney, Madawaska and Maynooth. Services each Sunday at 10:00 am
St. Pauls St. James - Madawaska
St. Paul and St. James, Madawaska, Ontario
held the closing service of their building on September 29, 2024 when they also celebrated 125 years of worship and service. They have now joined together with the other 4 congregations of the Maynooth Madawaska Pastoral Charge, newly named Windsong United Church and meeting in Maynooth, every Sunday at 10:00 am
The amalgamation of St. James United from Cross Lake with St. Paul’s United took place in 1967. St. Paul’s and St. James celebrated their centennial in 1999, and marked the celebration with the publication of a 65 page book, 1899-1999: St. Paul’s and St. James.
